In the last few months, successive cyclones, flooding, earthquakes, and massive power outages have had devastating consequences for the people on the island of Cuba. The increased depravations have compounded the effects of widespread shortages of fuel, medicine and essential supplies. In response, a consortium of seasoned concert producers have come together across the nation in an unprecedented effort to raise humanitarian aid for Cuba.
On Sunday February 16, live concerts will be produced in NYC, Chicago, and in the San Francisco Bay Area with all proceeds directed to support humanitarian aid for Cuba. Global Partners for Health and The People’s Forum are experienced in managing the logistics of large scale relief efforts and will be designated partners to deliver the supplies from raised funds.
The national coordinating committee is led by: Bill Martinez, Marguerite Horberg, Hannah Priscilla Craig, with support of local host committees.
The program will feature Chicago’s top Latin and other Jazz artists, including: Grupo Cha Cha ( Lise Gilly, Janet Cramer, Diane Mosquera, Stacy Mc Michael, Nigel Mack, Eric Pancer, and Kevin O' Connell) Norberto Guerra and Brenden Cabrera

The concerts in February will be filmed and edited for a spring release streaming nationwide. It is anticipated the coordinated efforts from the live concerts and subsequent streaming event on March 15 will raise $50,000 for relief support.

Conciertos para Cuba 2025
En los últimos meses, sucesivos ciclones, inundaciones, terremotos y apagones masivos han tenido
consecuencias devastadoras para la población de la isla de Cuba. Las crecientes depravaciones han
agravado los efectos de la escasez generalizada de combustible, medicinas y suministros esenciales.
En respuesta, un consorcio de experimentados productores de conciertos se ha unido en todo el país en
un esfuerzo sin precedentes para recaudar ayuda humanitaria para Cuba.
El domingo 16 de febrero, se producirán conciertos en directo en Nueva York, Chicago y el Área de la
Bahía, cuyos beneficios se destinarán íntegramente a apoyar la ayuda humanitaria a Cuba.
Global Health Partners y The People's Forum tienen experiencia en la gestión logística de esfuerzos de
ayuda a gran escala y serán los socios designados para entregar los suministros procedentes de los
fondos recaudados.
