Our space is usually home to the world renowned musical entertainers we host regularly. From Oscar-Nominated Mexican songstress, Lila Downs to Nigerian AfroBeat star Lagbaja, the HotHouse is home to some of the planet's most impressive international arts events.

Allow HotHouse's professional staff to serve you from our custom martini menu and warm your guests with the "HotHouse Flower" martini. From our distinctively decorated "Red Room" to our spacious gallery, we have space for you!

HotHouse provides a luxurious 7000 square foot space with a cozy atmosphere. Our venue is split into two rooms: The Red Room with an intimate stage that rises only one foot from the floor, and The Gallery which is a wide-open room that lends itself to a variety of events.

FAQs

1. What are the exact times that HotHouse is available to rent?
   8am-2:30am. Our programming is normally scheduled to begin at 8pm. Special discounts are available for off peak times.
   


2. Does our rental include tables and chairs?
   Yes! We have seating for 200 guests at smaller, more intimate cabaret tables, and our cozy booths that can seat up to six guests.
   


3. Do we have to use your caterers?
   No, but all caterers must have proof of license and insurance.
   


4. Is use of linens included?
   We provide burgundy wine colored linens for all of our tables and booths, but we do not provide linens for buffet tables.
   


5. If we have donated alcohol, can we bring it to HotHouse?
   Although we have a full service bar available to our clients, you can bring your own liquor at a cost of $100/category of alcohol. However, the bar guarantee needs to be met.
   


6. Can HotHouse book a band for us?
   Yes, at $25 per referral. There will be an additional cost for the band itself.
   


7. How will costs be affected if fewer or more guests show up than expected?
   The client may be charged additional fees if details of event/estimate substantially change, including but not limited to: number of attendees, hours of set-up, delivery acceptance, etc.
   


8. Can guests stay if the club opens up to the public after the party?
   It is likely, and can be arranged with us based on the event, but sometimes the event may be sold out. Admission may be required but at a discounted price, unless a discounted rate is not available.


9. What is your payment procedure?
   Payment will be made to HH/CIPEX by Client in the following manner. The date will not be reserved until a full deposit is made. The complete balance of payment will be in cash, money order, or Visa/Master Card and paid no later than the beginning of the event. A $10 per day surcharge will be added to bills not paid in full on date of event, and a 5% surcharge will be assessed on all credit card payments. Once a deposit has been made to reserve a room, the deposit is non-refundable and client is liable for payment of the entire amount of the contract if cancelled within 45 days.
   
   
10. Can we use your credit card machine for ticket purchasing and/or silent auction purchases at my special event?
    Credit card processing is available at 5% charge to HotHouse. Reimbursement of funds will be issued within 10-15 business days. Cancellations outside 45 days do not have to pay balance on contract.
